UPS (Outgoing) Package Module


Our Outgoing Package Module works in conjunction with the PackGuard Basic+ Guest Package Module.  The Outgoing Module interfaces with the UPS On-Line WorldShip© program to enable you to create invoices, and include outgoing (as well as incoming) package charges on Group Account bills and reports.  After processing an End-of-Day routine in the UPS On-Line WorldShip© program, PackGuard will save each record and add appropriate storage and handling fees in the Guest Package Systems' central database.  From there, you may access reports used to post charges to guest folios.

Additionally, the Outgoing Package Module will allow you to enter other carrier's outgoing packages (not interfaced with other carriers).  By entering the outgoing packages, you can add appropriate storage and handling fees and access reports used to post charges to guest folios.

The Outgoing Package Module requires PackGuard Basic+ Module.
Incoming Packages Shipping and Receiving enters and saves package information. Based on package type, a storage fee is automatically calculated. Extra handling fees may be added. Searches may be made by company name, recipient or tracking number. Mark packages for delivery, print delivery voucher. 
Reports Obtain inventory, arrivals, and delivery reports.
Maintenance Company setup information such as name and address. Create users and set security levels. Add carrier names. Develop charge types and rate tables to calculate fees.
Outgoing Package Interface with UPS when sending packages from your property. Include outgoing package charges with incoming package charges.
Quick Search Execute a search by company name, recipient name or tracking number to quickly access package data.
